About Nebula

Nebula is a browser-based multiplayer space strategy game built around exploration, colonisation, diplomacy, ship movement, research and conquest in a persistent galaxy.

The game is designed for players who enjoy the tension of military science fiction: uncertain first contact, logistics under pressure, strategic expansion, aggressive alien neighbours and the constant need to decide whether today calls for patience, diplomacy or overwhelming force.

The atmosphere is intentionally inspired by the broader feel of Expeditionary Force — especially the mix of high-stakes warfare, alien politics, dark humour and underdog survival associated with Joe Bishop, Skippy and the Merry Band of Pirates. Nebula is still its own original game world, mechanics set and player-driven sandbox, and should be presented as an unofficial fan-inspired experience rather than an official tie-in.

Players start small, then gradually build industrial strength, establish colonies, discover routes between systems and encounter alien species with very different behaviours. Some enemies are predatory. Some are authoritarian. Some are manipulative. Some are willing to cooperate, but only if it serves their interests.

Built for the browser

No install, no heavy client and no launcher. Nebula is meant to be easy to access and quick to return to.

Designed for long campaigns

Players can grow from a vulnerable foothold into a system-spanning power with fleets, infrastructure and diplomatic leverage.

Focused on atmosphere

The game aims to feel like the player is operating inside a living sci-fi frontier where every decision may have consequences later.
